Terms of Service

1) Definitions

• PrivateWeb7 / Pw7 — Bluesgrid Publishing LLC’s privacy-first communication and utility platform.
• PAWs — Privacy Access Wings: custom private portals and integrations for organizations.
• PB — Privacy Buddy: adaptive assistant experiences within Pw7.
• Content — Data, messages, files, or materials you submit to or through the Service.
• Account — A personal or organizational login used to access the Service.

2) Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your place of residence and legally able to enter a contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you must have authority to do so.

3) Accounts & Security

• You are responsible for the security of your Account and credentials. Use strong passwords and, where offered, multi-factor authentication.
• If you believe your Account has been compromised, notify us immediately at security@privateweb7.com or rick@privateweb7.com.

4) Privacy & Data Practices

Pv7 is designed around privacy and zero-knowledge principles. We strive to minimize data collection, restrict access to private content, and avoid surveillance mechanisms. We do not sell your personal data or use it for targeted advertising.

• Operational data. We may process limited technical or usage data to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
• Access controls. Organizational admins control roles and permissions within their PAWs. Pw7 does not view private user content except as required to operate the Service or when legally compelled.
• Deletion. Upon termination or request, we will delete or de-identify data we are not legally required to retain within a commercially reasonable period.

See our Privacy Policy for details. If these Terms conflict with the Privacy Policy, these Terms govern your use of the Service, and the Privacy Policy governs how we handle personal information.

5) Acceptable Use

Pv7 is not a haven for nefarious activity. You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any law, regulation, court order, or the rights of others;
• Harass, abuse, or endanger others; upload or distribute malware; probe or disrupt networks or systems;
• Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights; impersonate any person or entity;
• Send spam or unsolicited communications, or engage in fraud or deceptive practices;
• Bypass or defeat security or access controls, or attempt to do so.

Lawful cooperation. Pw7 will cooperate with lawful requests when presented with credible evidence and valid legal process.

6) Organization Accounts

For organizational use, admins manage users, roles, and policies. The organization is responsible for the actions of users under its Account and for maintaining compliance with its own policies and obligations.

7) Your Content & License to Pw7

• Ownership. You retain ownership of your Content.
• Limited license. You grant Pw7 a worldwide, non-exclusive, revocable, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display your Content solely to operate and improve the Service (including backups, anti-abuse, and security).
• Feedback. If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant Pw7 a perpetual, irrevocable license to use it without obligation.
• You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit the Content and to grant the licenses above.

8) Beta & Experimental Features

Certain features (including PAWs configurations and Privacy Buddy experiences) may be offered as beta or pre-release. They are provided “as is,” may change at any time, and may be subject to additional terms. We may enable or disable such features at our discretion.

9) Plans, Trials & Payments

• Fees, billing cycles, and plan limits (if any) are described at the point of purchase or in your Order Form.
• Taxes may apply. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable.
• We may change prices with reasonable advance notice to the email associated with your Account or via the Service.

10) Third-Party Services

The Service may interoperate with third-party products or services. Pw7 does not control and is not responsible for third-party terms, policies, or actions.

11) Security & Disclosure

We employ technical and organizational measures to protect the Service. No system is perfectly secure. If you discover a vulnerability, please contact security@privateweb7.com with details so we can investigate.

12) Suspension & Termination

• You may stop using the Service at any time. You can request account closure and data export subject to applicable law and retention needs.
• We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, risk to the Service or users, legal requirements, or non-payment.

13) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PW7 DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

14) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PW7 WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. PW7’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO PW7 FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.

15) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pw7 and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

16) Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service and these Terms from time to time. We will post changes on this page and update the “Effective Date.” Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

17) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Insert state/country], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in [Insert venue] will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law. (Optional: add an arbitration clause and class-action waiver here if desired.)

18) General

• If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
• You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• These Terms, together with any Order Form and our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Pw7 regarding the Service.
